I was just on the phone and was having a hard time hearing so I went into a room with the lights off & took my glasses off, which may seem silly. I was trying to hear and it shouldn't have anything to do with seeing right? Have you ever seen or heard the people poking fun at drivers that turn their music off cause they are trying to find their way? It's actually quite logical to do both of those things. You ask why? The answer is simple sometimes you got to shut down other senses/distractions to be able to focus and heighten the sense you need most at the time. Just like when you fast you should be shutting down the distraction of eating or whatever you maybe fasting to focus on your relationship with God and trying to hear what He has been trying to tell you but you couldn't hear through all the other noises.

Every person is uniquely made by God. Each person has their own personality and way of living life. Every person gets to make their own choices in life. While situations can be similar, no one knows exactly what another person has gone or is going through. No one but Christ was perfect. If you don't like how someone else lives or parents well you don't have to do what they do. As long as they aren't harming themselves or others then leave them alone. Just cause you do things one way doesn't make you better or your ways better it just makes them different. This world needs less people judging each other and instead more people loving & helping each other.
I have heard the Proverbs 31 woman talked a bit about over the years. Tonight when I opened up God's word that's what it opened to Proverbs 31:10-31. Reading everything supposedly this woman does if you look at it in the natural you can be intimidated by it or think it's impossible for someone to do all that each day. Here are somethings I got from it tonight. First the key verse is
Proverbs 31:30 NLT Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. This is the most important verse because if it wasn't for her fear/reverence for the Lord & trust in Him, then she wouldn't be able to do anything that is listed in the previous verses. She isn't doing all those things in her own power but through the power God gives us that ask. I don't think all the things listed are things that every woman should be doing but more of a small list of things that can be done with God's help. Proverbs 31:25 NLT She is clothed with strength & dignity, and laughs without fear of the future I feel this verse corroborates what I said about verse 30. That she is clothed(given by God) the strength(power) to do all and she is able to laugh without fear of the future because she is trusting God with her future and just like His Word says His plans are good! Proverbs 31:26-27 NLT When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness. The first part I think is telling us yet again that we need to really think before we speak. Is what you are about to say wise? Not just meaning is it something smart but is it something that really should be said. Are your instructions in kindness? Meaning will what you say be productive. It's good to give feedback or critiques but it needs to be done with the right spirit & be useful. Finally one needs to be aware of the things going on around them, that way they know what needs to be done and if anything is out of place. Over the last 5 years I have had a lot of things happen good & bad. Here is just somethings: both my grandmothers died, my daddy was killed, had two miscarriages right before 20 weeks, had Abby & Nate 15 months apart, became church bookkeeper, secretary & media design and much more. We have been so blessed through everything. The reality is though I have been going full ahead for to long. I have a hard time telling people no cause I love helping out and media design(graphics, videos, websites, photos, etc) especially is a passion of mine. Being a full time mom of 2 little kids and doing everything else I have been doing, I am exhausted. Many times I have put the ministry stuff over my family stuff and I won't lie it has cause quite a few arguments. I have felt for to long that I am just going through the motions. For months now I have been trying to lighten my load and it has helped some but not enough. After seeking God and much prayer I have had to make the hard decision to take a season of rest starting in January. I will be taking this time to focus on my relationship with God and my family. I have no doubt I will be helping out with ministry again in the future but will have to be done with a better balance.
I had this laid on my heart tonight. God made humans in His own image. Just like God, humans have free will. With free will come consequences of the choices made. God knew when He decided to do that what the consequences would be of His decision, which is why He came up with a plan to deal with those consequences. To many people make decisions without bothering to think about the consequences of those choices or making plans for them.
God gave us free will so we could chose to have a relationship with Him. Before the fall of man God went to the garden to talk, fellowship, hangout and be part of Adam & Eve's lives. He wants to do the same thing with us today. He wants a relationship with the people He has created. Think about a parent/child relationship. A good parent wants to talk, hangout and be part of their child's life. A good parent has unconditional love for their child and nothing will change that. The parent may not agree with everything the child does but the child has free will to make the choice. The child should be taught, plus with every choice learns there are consequences to what they chose, be them good or bad. A good parent always wants the best for the child and hates to see when the bad happens. God is the ultimate parent! He advises you against things not because He is mean or wants mindless followers but because He sees the consequences. He wants His children to decide to have a relationship with Him. He wants His children to use the free will to do good and not bad. One could say what's good or what's bad is a matter of opinion. To a degree that is true. Here is a simple way of looking at good and bad. Does it edify, improve, or encourage? Or does it belittle, hinder, or destroy? Started week 4 of working out. I am up to 20 minutes 3.6 miles. So since I started I have doubled my time & increased 2.5 miles. I am noticing that doing things through out the day I don't get out of breath as much and I can do more. I am excited what several more weeks will be like. Today is the start of week 3 working out. I first have added a day so this week will be 4 days instead of 3. My workout stats I did today were the following 16 minutes, 2.7 miles, and 107 pulse. So from week 1 I am up 6 minutes and 1.6 miles. My pulse was only down 1 point but I did work at lot harder today. I probably won't do body measurements & a picture until 5 weeks. Not sure if anything has really changed but I can say this I feel better and am not so much out of breath doing things now. God is good!!
A week ago I got my elliptical/exercise bike but together and started working out. In just 1 week I am already some improvements!! It's not a lot but I think it's awesome. Stats are 11 minutes, 1.7 miles, 41.3 calories and pulse 99 on a higher tension level. Changes are 1 minute more, .6 mile more, 6 calories more, my pulse down 9 and I wasn't completely out of breath.
Also I am excited that I just joined something that I am hoping will really improve my health and my family's. It's an all natural wellness company. I can't wait to get some products and see how they are. If they are as good as I have been told you all will be hearing more about it. I might even be able to make some income with it. Loving Life. God is Good! I heard a song today that said "He gives and takes away" and it bothered me. It makes it sound like God is an "indian giver", or that He causes bad things to happen. First off, Jesus took the curse by suffering and being killed on the cross so that we would have life more abundantly. God never takes a loved one because He needs another angel. Only one comes to steal, kill and destroy and that is satan. God also fully believes in free will. Only time He is going to take something is when you ask Him too! Want Him to take your pain, sickness, addiction and so on? ASK HIM!! He isn't however going to take your job because you didn't give an offering at church. God wants only the best for His children!!
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Matthew 7:11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him. God is so Good!! No matter what you are going through you need to praise Him!! Remember if you are in a storm right now the sunshine is coming!! Some storms last longer than other but in the end the sunshine always comes!! Don't give up hold onto your faith. Jesus is the breakthrough provider!!
