Salvation by grace

As the parable that Jesus told in Luke 18:9-14 about the Pharisee and tax collector salivation isn't earned by how many “religious” things you do but is only given through the grace of God. The only things you can do to receive that grace is just by humbling yourself before God and admit that you are a sinner and you need His mercy and forgiveness. 
Romans 5:17 “They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.”
John 1:17 “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus”
Both these passages show that God has given us the gift of grace through His son Jesus Christ. All you have to do is accept it.
